Poor Cedric has lost his pet snake Monty. He finds out that he has been kidnapped by Baron Big Nose who has taken him back to his house to do all his housework. Cedric (who can nearly fly), tries to fly off to rescue Monty but only succeeds in landing bang on his own nose. Meanwhile back at Baron Big Noses' house Monty is deliberately being awkward and difficult. The Baron telephones his girlfriend (the ugly Witch), who lives in a castle up in the clouds and asks her to come and take Monty back up the beanstalk and back to her castle where Cedric won't find him. But, Cedric says his magic words "Cedric SuperKnight to the rescue" and sets out on an adventure to find him.

After meeting a non fire-breathing dragon with a lisp and a princess (who saves Cedric from being put to sleep for 100 years), Cedric eventually rescues Monty and in the end, they all live happily ever after.

During the show there are some songs and lots of audience participation.

This is a one man show using large glove puppets and is suitable for children aged from 4 to 10 years and also the young at heart. The stage is approx. 6 feet 6 inches (W) x 5 feet 10 inches (H) x 3 feet 6 inches (D). This show can be performed either indoor or outdoor.

The show can last from 45 minutes to one hour depending on the age group and venue. The show can be erected in 15 - 20 minutes and a power point would be required if performed outdoors or in a large hall.
